The UK Investment Roadshow 2026 opens in London today, bringing together investors, businesses and strategic stakeholders to advance trade, investment and commercial partnerships under the UK-Ghana Growth Partnership.

Held under the theme “From Confidence to Capital: Unlocking the Next Wave of Growth through Strategic Investment,” the Roadshow builds on momentum generated by the Ghana-UK Investment Summit in June and forms part of ongoing efforts to translate the Growth Partnership’s commitments into tangible commercial outcomes. Through a programme of investor meetings, business showcases and networking engagements, it will connect UK and international investors with a pipeline of investment opportunities from Ghana spanning sectors critical to economic growth, industrialisation and regional trade.

Participants will hear from Claire Innes, Deputy Director, Growth Directorate at the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO); Sabah Zita Benson, Ghana’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom; Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare, Minister for Trade, Agribusiness and Industry; and Augustus Goosie Tanoh, Presidential Adviser on the 24-Hour Economy and Accelerated Export Development Programme (24H+), alongside business leaders, project sponsors and investment partners. These discussions will provide investors with direct access to key decision-makers and insights into high-potential opportunities emerging under Ghana’s growth and industrial transformation agenda and the UK-Ghana Growth Partnership.

This engagement builds on progress made at the UK-Ghana Trade and Investment Summit held in September, where the Deal Room and Investment Matchmaking Session generated investor interest in opportunities worth over £250 million, drawn from a broader pipeline exceeding £1.4 billion across sectors such as agribusiness, pharmaceuticals and health technology, financial services, infrastructure and the circular economy. Many of these opportunities are now progressing through active engagements with prospective investors and strategic partners.

“The UK Investment Roadshow demonstrates our commitment to connecting UK investors with credible opportunities in Ghana and supporting the partnerships that can unlock investment, create jobs and drive sustainable growth in both our countries,” said His Excellency Dr Christian Rogg, British High Commissioner to Ghana.

Taking place alongside AFSIC – Investing in Africa, the largest annual Africa-focused investment event held outside the continent, the Roadshow will create additional opportunities for Ghanaian businesses, project sponsors, and government partners to engage a global investor audience and showcase investment-ready opportunities.

“This strategic event represents an important next step in converting interest into action. Building on the relationships and opportunities created during the Summit, it provides a platform to showcase Ghana’s investment potential, facilitate business-to-business connections and advance commercially viable discussions with investors seeking opportunities in Africa,” said Adjoba Kyiamah, Executive Director of the UK-Ghana Chamber of Commerce.

The programme includes an Investment Opportunities Roundtable hosted by British Expertise International, a dedicated Ghana Country Investment Session at the AFSIC Summit, and culminates in the Ghana Investor Deal Room Day, where investors will engage directly with businesses, project sponsors and government partners on investment-ready opportunities. Together, these activities will provide a platform for Ghanaian businesses, project sponsors and government partners to showcase opportunities to a global audience of investors. All activities will take place at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge, London.

These ongoing strategic investor engagement activities demonstrate the UK-Ghana Growth Partnership moving from dialogue to delivery, helping connect opportunities with capital and translate investment potential into partnerships, growth and jobs.
