Bentsifi’s Tattle…Guy About Town
Mbo! The Globetrotting Princess and her Tuk Tuk that took Ghana personally
The Princess and her Tuk Tuk
Today, Princess Umul Hatiyya Ibrahim Mahama aka “The Globetrotting Princess”, returns to Accra after an 80+ day journey across all 16 regions, extended from a planned 60-day trip.
She faced rough roads, heat, rain, and breakdowns, plus the limits of long-distance travel in a tiny three-wheeled Pragyia.
After traversing the globe literally visiting some 90 countries worldwide, she chose to rediscover her homeland Ghana differently. Not by tour bus or checklist, but from a Pragyia – the humble “yellow yellow.”
This was no eccentric trip, but an endurance journey with purpose: to raise awareness and fundraising for deaf children while highlighting Ghana’s culture, food, markets, and hidden gems.
Part travel story, part endurance challenge, part advocacy. Here’s a reminder of what humanity can accomplish when we set our goals to doing something meaningful.
For now: Kudos, Princess. Welcome home. You and your tuk tuk took Ghana personally. And what an incredible story you’ve built!
