TRADE FINANCE: EFFECTIVE PAYMENT METHODS AND ACCESS TO TRADE FINANCE
The Trade Finance training programme, which will be delivered by a facilitator from the Institute of Export and International Trade, UK entails a half-day virtual session including but not limited to;
Trade finance instruments
Support from Export: Import Banks nationally, regionally, and internationally
Ability to evaluate and compare different payment methods used in international trade transactions
Knowledge of the various sources of trade finance, including trade credit insurance, trade financing, and bank loans
Awareness of the risks associated with trade finance and the strategies to mitigate them
Familiarity with the legal and regulatory framework that governs trade finance operations
